I'm your go-to girl for pop culture trends, social media management, and digital video editing. I thrive in a creative community, love to be a team player and will talk about music for hours if I can.

 

I recently graduated from Elon University in Elon, North Carolina, with a double major in Journalism and Strategic Communications and a minor in Sociology.

My Experience

 

As a Creative Production Intern with NBCUniversal’s TV Entertainment Networks, SYFY and Oxygen, I worked with various Entertainment teams ranging from Brand Marketing, Social Marketing, and Creative Production.

 

As a Social Media Marketing Intern for Media A La Carte, I conducted digital PR and social media for several clients, assisted in account growth, researched viral trends, and built content calendars and analytics reports.

 

I have managed Social Media for six different organizations at Elon University, varying from Elon News Network, The Doherty Center for Creativity, Innovation and Entreprenuership, The Edge Magazine and more. I created content calendars and strategies, managed teams and developed brand voices across all platforms.

 

I have experience with graphic design, photography, and video editing working with various Adobe Creative Cloud Platforms.

Career Aspirations

With a strong passion for music, theater and the arts, I spend my free time singing and performing. In my journalism experience, I focused on a beat in lifestyle and entertainment.

 

My goal is to enter the lifestyle/entertainment news field in digital marketing as a social media manager for an entertainment, lifestyle, music or news brand.
